Kompas TV journalist Glenys Octania had the opportunity to participate in a smoke-free
area policies fellowship. Communities need to educate their children from an early age
to break the chain of active smoking in their respective homes. , Through the Ministry of
Health, the government establishes a smoke-free area, or KTR, that prohibits smoking
activities or producing, selling, advertising, and promoting tobacco products. However,
the policy does not include homes as a smoke-free area. The house should be a
smoke-free area and provide initial protection to all family members from exposure to
addictive substances.
