Several challenges were faced in passing the Perpres on healthy districts/cities. The
Presidential Regulation on Healthy Districts/Cities follows the previous regulation,
namely the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Health
No. 34/2005 on implementing Healthy Cities. Several indicators must be included in the
KKS assessment, including smoke-free areas. Pandemic covid 19 changes the
definition of organizing healthy city districts. And this is not just an assessment and
award but touches on the essence of health issues.
