Air Pollution Threatens Jakarta’s Air Quality Does Not Meet Children’s Ecological Rights!

The resident appealed to all his staff to immediately document the poor air quality in the
Jabodetabek area in a limited meeting at the State Palace on 14 August 2023. Various
extraordinary policies were immediately launched to implement the president’s appeal, starting from using electric vehicles, working from home, or working from home to
weather engineering. Air pollution is an integral part of the environment’s relationship to
the right to health, which will result in people’s vulnerability to disease, especially lung
and other infections. Air pollution also robs children of their rights, who at an early age
should be able to play in a healthy environment, but must face the harsh reality.
