the horizon. Land subsidence occurs every year. If not handled properly, it is predicted

in Jakarta. Bogor Agricultural Institute revealed that land subsidence in Jakarta has
occurred since 1975. to overcome this problem, the provincial government of DKI
Jakarta built a giant sea wall from the Bay of Jakarta. However, there are better ways
out than this policy. Several facts show the correlation between land subsidence and
flooding in Jakarta. Exploitation is suspected to be the cause of land subsidence in
Jakarta.
