World crude oil prices fell again in trading due to projections that the Omicron variant would hinder global demand recovery. Despite being pressured by the Omicron variant in the last few days, the increase in world oil prices has repeatedly caused foreign gas stations such as Shell to increase consumer selling prices. On the other hand, local gas stations, namely Pertamina, tend to hold prices. In terms of calculations, this disparity makes Shell and Pertamina’s businesses unequal. If something is held back, both of them will lose. Consumers abandoned Shell because of high prices, and Pertamina was under performance pressure because it had to hold down prices.
